Mike Stallings- St. Baldricks 2008 | |
I posted a message on here, but I think it got lost in the updating of the new guestbook.

Anyway, I too am taking part in the St. Baldrick's event 2008, shaving my head in the fight of children's cancer.

If you care to make a donation, please visit the link above.

I hope everyone is well.

Be safe,
Mike Stallings

Good to see no one lost the gift of gab while we were off the air. Just wanted to write and get everyone to help me congratulate Greg "UL" Wild of the MID-TENN FOOLS on his promotion to Captain with Franklin Fire Dept. He actually ranked #1. We figure it only cost him half his savings and one child, but it was probably worth it.

It is official. The Nor Cal Fools will be hosting “Road Trip 2008” to this year’s convention in Seattle. It looks like we will be leaving July 8th mostly likely in the morning. Then stopping halfway to a place left to be determined, with actives left to be determined. The next morning finish the drive to Seattle. You can arrange to fly into Sacramento on the 7th or earlier if you choose. The night of the 7th will be a bbq hosted by the Nor Cal Fools. Arrangements will be made to pick you up at the airport as well as a place to stay. At the end of the convention you can either fly back home out of Seattle or make a return trip to Sacramento with us. The trip back home will most likely be straight through. Please RSVP by May 19th. What cost’s will occur is really unknown as of yet. It depends on the number of people will be going. As far as food and drinks on the RV, we will take care of that. I assume that we will be “camping” at our midway stay over. I will update this as soon as I get more information. Please call me or email me to reserve your spot.

It's great to see some life back at this web address, and we can't wait until the new site is up and running.

We have been working on preparing for the 2008 FOOLS Convention in Seattle to make it "one to remember". We have changed our mode from ORGANIZATION to DEPLOYMENT, and things are really taking shape.
We encourage everyone to begin contacting the host hotel (Quality Inn) and book your room registrations. See Ellen's below for all of the information. Also, our Convention PIO (South West WAshington FOOLS Prez)Chad Snyder, will be contacting everyone's chapter to give you the information and some more important details. Please share that information with your members as you receive it.
Both the Puget Sound FOOLS and the South West Washington FOOLS are committed and anxiously dedicated to putting on another great Convention, and we look forward to playing host to all of you brothers.
- Oh yeah, I once again will be kicking Jeremy's ass at the race track....you think it was bad last time Jeremy, now you are at OUR home track. "Shake 'n' Bake Baby!"

Check in at pugetsoundfools.com for updated convention information.
