There are over 170 Chapters currently showing as having "active" status.
I know that not every Chapter is as active as the next.
However my Brothers, if only HALF that number send a representative to Convention, then the "Voice of the Brotherhood" will truly have a voice at the FOOLS Convention.
This is a Convention by the Brothers, for the Brothers.
C'mon folks, get your registration in.
What do we need to do to get you to the Beach? 4 June 2009 10:10am - Convention Land 2009! |

It is with great regret and sadness that i announce the passing of one of our brother fools, Mike Trzeczpaz. Mike was critically injured last saturday in a motorcycle accident and lost his battle this morning. Mike was a member of the Lake View Fire Dept for over 20 years and with the southwestern new york chapter since its beggining. For those of you who didnt have the pleasure of knowing Mike, he was a good firefighter and a true fool. You could always count on him to get the line in and get the job done. He will be truly missed,,, Mike leaves behind his parents, a brother, sister and his ex wife Nicole. RFB,KTF. 29 May 2009 08:35am - A very sad western new york |

Listen, I've already sent this to a few of you.
I had to share it with everyone else.
My youngest son had the honor this past Saturday night of speaking at the JDRF Boston Gala. He introduced the evening's honoree, who is the President and CEO of his insulin pump company.
I'm just about busting with pride.
Thanks for letting me share.

Brother and Sister FOOLS,
June is only a couple weeks away. TIME TO GET THOSE CONVENTION REGISTRATIONS IN!
I am happy to announce an additional activity that has been added to the FOOLS Convention itinerary. Arrangements have been made with the folks at Cape Neddick golf club for a round of golf for up to sixteen golfers on Thursday morning the 25th. We cannot confirm exact tee times until a week before, however we will be around 0930 and 1015. I will have confirmation tomorrow on fees; they are going to get us a deal. Most likely the scenario will be Greens fees at member rates around $50, discounted carts around $15 and discounted rental clubs around $10 to $20. Rental clubs are limited to about 12 with only two lefty sets available. Carts are not mandatory and pull carts are available. It is a great walking course. Skip and I have tons of golf balls, Tees and other accessories.
The link to Cape Neddick is http://www.capeneddickgolf.com/. It is a great course with a fine nineteenth hole and excellent proximity to the York Beach epicenter.
Information pertaining to the other events and activities planned for the week can be found here: http://foolsinternational.com/events/Fools_Convention.shtml
Feel free to contact me with any questions about the golf outing or any other activities associated with the convention.
Keep those registrations coming in! 10 May 2009 08:46am |

Has anyone out there heard why "they" removed Ray McCormack's keynote speach video from the internet? There are a few blogs out there (apparently) that are abuzz with rumors that it was removed because he mentioned the fact that "we" are not number one on the fireground; the trapped victims are...sounds like the safety nazis got a hold of it and figured it was not what "they" wanted the Fire Service to hear...just wondering...
