As last minute plans and preparations are made, I've got a question for y'all.
Anyone who isn't bugging outta town on Sunday, do you plan on participating in York Beach FD's Field Day?
Y'all might wanna think about it, they were good enough to hold it along with Convention.
Those of you not "from around here" might learn a thing or two from an Old Fashioned New England Firefighting Tradition! 21 June 2009 11:21am |

Brothers,
Those of you who are Chapter Presidents and in charge of merchandise.
I would like to put together a FOOLS International or a National FOOLS prize pack for Convention.
If y'all could send me what you have, or can afford to send from your own Chapter's locker as a Convention Raffle prize, that would be outstanding.
I know that Brother Hopson did something similar in Joisey, and I love the idea.
So, any merchandise that your Chapter has, that would be included in a prize pack, please forward it along to me c/o New England FOOLS Po Box 109 Georgetown Mass 01833
Thanks, see y'all SOON! 11 June 2009 01:59pm - Convention is around the corner! |

Brothers & Sisters, the "KegMan" has just left Seattle and is on the road heading to York, Maine. The Puget Sound FOOLS Kevin O'Keefe is making the solo effort and stopping off to spend time with 6 different chapters along the way. He is taking his time, since he wants the KegMan to "see the sights" across the United States of America. Please wish O'Keefe luck in his safe travels. 11 June 2009 10:27am - Snohomish County, WA |

A tip of the lid to the Truckies of Cumberland County, NJ for a great weekend of training. Keep pushing Brothers. here's a few things we learned in So. Jersey; - Real firemen drink Jameson's - Port Norris needs a mop for the bucket! - Oh, you said the Ore House. - Nice belt Champ! - Slappy, don't be cheating on your boyfriend. - Your maitre d will be Mr. Hopson this evening. - There's nothing like a traveling chiropractor to get things loosened up in a local pub. - All firemen say F*#! - You can't beat a weekend of training with dedicated students and a great bunch of instructors! 8 June 2009 12:06pm - Exit 7A |

Lets get it goin' boys and register for the Convention. I'm with Rusty, every chapter should at least be sending one representative if they are considered "active". Yes, we are calling you out.
The Keg man is being driven from 2 "active" chapters on the West Coast accross the country and hooking up with other "active" chapters along the way. Finally it will arrive in York, Maine to be passed on to three other "active" chapters on the East Coast.
Is your chapter active? 6 June 2009 12:32pm - Snohomish County WA |
